Portrait: Chef Dennis Franceschini



This is Dennis Franceschini chef and owner of Bar Italia on New York's Upper East Side. Besides being an excellent cook he is an incredibly warm and welcoming man. I have had the opportunity to photograph his restaurant and eat many plates of his wonderful food. I find my self forever craving his pasta with truffles and have gone multiple times just for it.

  1. How dare this individual be called excellent cook.... Last time I checked he was the youngest to become chef straight from the mother land Italia... In the most prestigious restaurant of all harry cipriani.... A few years back I left him being executive chef.. I love him like an uncle.... Great person... I'm eternally grateful. ... For his friendship. ..... God bless him and family always.....
