Solo Photography Exhibition: Photographic Evidence

I am pleased to announce that I will be having a solo showing of my photography at the Unique Gallery (123 Rt. 46 West Fairfield, NJ) on Tuesday September 14th.

This exhibit will feature images from my recent trip to the border of the Gaza Strip with a team of artists and Israeli activists. As an embedded photographer, I captured their valiant attempt to fight terrorism with art, as they painted bomb shelters with murals of hope.

For their efforts, they touched thousands of lives, were awarded the key to the city of Sderot and received a large amount of media attention. Come see pictures of this historic journey as well as intimate portraits of each artists' personal struggle with the drama of the situation. On display will be my work as well as never-before-seen Polaroid images taken by the citizens of Sderot, the artists and others who we met on this journey.

Complimenting the exhibition, Sue Works, an artist from the trip will be painting the country's largest graffiti mural on the side of the gallery. This massive undertaking is not to be missed.

I hope to see you all there.

Restaurant: Tick Tock Diner

The Tick Tock Diner is a landmark in NJ. It has been featured on everything from The Food Network to books and other shows. I took a friend from Israel, who had never been to a place like this, and his first comment after sitting down was "there is not a single healthy in eye sight except for a bag of tea." That about sums it up. Then we eat Disco Fries.
