Portrait: Pinky

This is a portrait I shot a while back of the singer Pinky. She had a fantastic energy and was so much fun to be around. The portrait was shot at The Donut Pub. Its a really cool spot on 14th with great donuts and drinkable coffee.

Food: Caramels

I saw Alton Brown whip up a batch of the yummiest looking caramels with Sea Salt on top with such ease. I figured, if he could do it so easily, then so could I. But then I tried to make them... and forgot about the magic of TV. My biggest mistake was that my thermometer wasn't working. Yeah... well call that the biggest problem, but the ingredient pics came out cool. I'll try this again on a day that isn't over 100 degrees.
