Landscape: Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park St. Kitts

Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the island of St. Kitts. It is one of the most well preserved British Forts in the world. After a 20 minute ride from the capital city you turn off the main road and drive up a very hairy (read: steep and tight with cement gates to squeeze through) road. After paying a nominal fee to enter the park (get one of the audio tours- its worth it and you can share) you park in a field and are free to wonder the grounds. Make sure you eat before, or pack lunch because the food there is... well let's call it not great.
